About me
I am Dr. Adolfo Montemayor Alatorre, an Otolaryngologist with a high specialization in Head and Neck Oncological Surgery, focusing on benign and malignant thyroid tumors.
I completed my studies in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the “Dr. José Eleuterio González” University Hospital of UANL (Autonomous University of Nuevo León), and my high specialization in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the “Hospital Juárez de México” of UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) in Mexico City. In addition to my national training, I completed a mini-fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and an observership at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, Sean Parker Institute for the Voice in New York. Recently, I was accredited in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology by the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) and by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Currently, in addition to practicing privately, I am a clinical professor at Zambrano Hellion Hospital (TecSalud) and a professor of undergraduate and postgraduate Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospital UANL. I am also a member of the Head and Neck Oncology Committee at the Dr. José Eleuterio González University Hospital, as well as the Head and Neck Oncology Committee at Zambrano Hellion Hospital. Additionally, I am a member of the American Thyroid Association (ATA).
